Queza is a live Q&A platform: audience members submit and upvote questions anonymously from their phone via a QR code or link, no account required.
How it works for organizers
- Create an event. Set a status (Draft, Live, or Finished), a title, a start and end time, and an optional description or cover image.
- Share it. A join page shows a large QR code and link, meant to be projected for the room; a separate speaker page is available for the person presenting.
- Moderate live. Every question lands in a Pending queue first - approve or reject it, pin the ones you want to answer next, and mark questions answered as you go. The dashboard updates automatically every few seconds.
- The event closes itself. Once the scheduled end time passes, a Live event automatically moves to Finished - nothing to close manually.
- Pull a report. After the event, see visitor count, question count, how many distinct people asked or voted, and the top questions ranked by votes.
How it works for participants
- Scan the QR code or open the link shared by the organizer - no download, no account.
- Submit a question(up to 500 characters). Posting is anonymous by default, or add your name if you'd rather not be anonymous.
- Upvote the questions you want the organizer to prioritize.
A private, signed cookie is used only to prevent you from voting twice on the same question and to power the organizer's aggregate visitor count - it's never attached to a specific question or shown to the organizer.
Account & billing basics
New accounts get a one-time free trial: one event, up to 100 participants, no card required. Beyond that, a workspace needs an active paid subscription to create events. See queza.app/pricing for current plans and prices. A workspace has two roles: Owners manage billing and membership, and Members don't. Payments are processed by Paddle.com, acting as merchant of record. First-time charges are refundable within 14 days; renewals aren't, except where required by law or in case of a billing error - see the full Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Privacy at a glance
Participants never need an account. Third parties that support the Service: Paddle (payments), Resend (transactional email), Sentry (error monitoring), Google Analytics (marketing pages and the signed-in dashboard only - never public event pages), and Railway (hosting). See the full Privacy Policy for details on data retention and your rights.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free trial?
Yes. A new account can create one workspace with one event, free, for up to 100 participants, with no card required. It's a one-time trial per account, not a recurring free plan.
Do participants need to create an account?
No. Participants submit questions and vote from their phone with no account and no app to install - they just scan a QR code or open a link.
Does a live event end automatically?
Yes. Once an event's scheduled end time passes, it automatically moves from Live to Finished - there's no manual step to close it.
Can a rejected question be approved later?
Yes. Rejecting a question isn't final - an Admin can approve it later from the moderation dashboard if they change their mind.
What's the difference between the join view and the speaker view?
The join view is a big-screen page showing a large QR code and link, meant to be projected for the room. The speaker view is a separate page for the person presenting.
Can an Admin see who voted for or asked a specific question?
No. Votes and question authorship aren't tied to an identity in the moderation view - the anonymous visitor cookie only prevents duplicate votes and powers aggregate counts in the event report, never a per-question identity.
